GAABY WORLD is a community backwater home-stay endeavor based at West Chennamkary right at the heart of the picturesque Kuttanad of Alleppey district, famed in the world’s tourism map.
The home-stay is spread across a number of houses owned by different families with ample amenities and water frontage for a comfortable and memorable stay for the guests ( based on a community developement programme )

Here various activities such as Canoeing & Village walk, Bicycle tour across the village & other interesting activities for the guests are arranged for the guests

COMMUNITY HOMESTAY RATES Are

Non A/c Home-stay          : INR 1250 per person on APAI
A/c Home-stay                 : INR 2000 per person on APAI
Village walk & Canoe ride  : INR   250 per person (optional

LOCATION ACCESS
The home stay is just 10 kms away from Alleppey town, accessible by water and road.  
We recommend the waterway because it provides you with an unforgettable sail through the serene backwaters and sinuous rivers, bordered with lush green coconut palms and other trees, bamboos and shrubs.
If you desire traveling by bus from Alleppey (30 minutes journey) take a bus via Nedumudy, alight at Pooppally junction and take an autoriskshaw (which is the cheapest mode of transport in these places) to reach Koikkad bridge and take the right curve and then turn left to reach your homestay.                               
Hourly ferry service is available from Alleppey Boat station. The trip is of nearly (1.10 hrs at an economical rate. Take a boat from Alleppey to Nedumudy, via Chennamkary. Get down at Vaidyashala boat jetty, after Chennamkary St: Thomas Orthodox Church jetty. Two churches situated on opposite sides of the river serve as landmark of this place. A stroll of 2 minutes (100 meters) will take you the homestay. Private taxies (Boat/ Car) are always available if you prefer so, but at an added cost
