About me

My name is Edith Munubbe. I was born in June 24th 1954 in Kirinyaga District Central province of Kenya. I am the 2nd born in a family of 8 girls and 3 boys. My father was a peasant and a teacher and mother is a farmer too. After college and teaching for few years, I got married and moved to our city (Nairobi) where I live up to date. My husband was a special man to me and to my children. He never lived to see his two beautifull girls grow up. He passed away in 1988 when our first born was only 5 years old and second born 3 years. Life without him and with two children was not easy for a single teacher. The salary was so meagre, that I could not afford to take my kids where their dad had already enrolled them. Losing a husband is not easy life and I had a lot of ups and downs but God is great that he has brought us to this stage. Life was not smooth for us and I saw the other side of darkness and thought that the world was coming to an end. I gathered the pieces together and started looking to the brighter side of life. I achieved my goals. My daughters are now grown up and working.
