Action to Support Orphans and Disadvantaged (ASOD) – Uganda started in 2004 my as a grassroots charity. On the 26th July 2005, the organisation was officially mandated by the laws of Uganda to be indigenous Non – Governmental Organisation (NGO), to provide services to people affected by HIV/AIDS and conflict. Focused on slum areas. We provide care and support to orphans and vulnerable children by assisting the orphans who are affected and Infected with HIV/AIDS, and the disadvantaged. Our mission is to fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS, use education and social services to improve the health status of disadvantaged communities in Uganda, build human capacity, and create synergy between the educational, health, and social sectors Application
