Volunteering in Kenya via Desteens
Short description
Desteens Volunteering Services (DVS) was established in 2001 and based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO). Not for profit, non-government Organization, with the aim to make awareness of volunteerism among my community and benefit from the services given to them by these volunteers. We make volunteering readily available to people who are seeking to assist others and to learn from their volunteer experiences, related to social service or the natural environment, anywhere around our country.
After hard work during your placement DVS awards you with a certificate to show our appreciation. This time around was awarding Chloe.
How does your trip to me help?
Help via volunteerism in our country and among our youth and assist our poor community in community work.

How to get there
Edith operates the Nairobi Office from her home. The home also serves as office and as well as home where we host our volunteers. We also look for families to host our volunteers if the placements are not in Nairobi.
